| | | | | `Es lebe der Sprühling`
This exhibition and book release will be dealing with a phenomenon that started about 30 years ago in our hometown Hamburg.
Then all of a sudden an uncountable amount of cryptic signs appeared apparently everwhere.
Since then there has been a continuos outcome of more and more of these messages.
From saturday on we will be trying to bring light into the darkness without unveling too much about this one of a kind phenomenon.

| | | | | Ein Treppenhaus wird zum Kunstwerk – acht Urban Art-Künstler gestalten das stilwerk
stilwerk wird zum Kunstwerk: am 14. November 2009 gestalten acht Urban Art-Künstler unter dem Motto „stilwerk stairway art event“ das bisher rote Treppenhaus des Designcenters an der Großen Elbstraße.
Acht Künstler, acht Etagen, acht Kunstwerke: von morgens bis abends sind die Künstler – darunter mehrere Hamburger – Pablo „Sozyone“ Gonzalez, Nils Kasiske, Kristian Kutschera, Form 76, Felix Schlüter, Golden Green 179, Tenten und Mr. Nonski am Samstag, den 14.11. am Werk und verleihen jeder Etage des Treppenhauses im stilwerk ein ganz eigenes Gesicht. Jedem der Urban Art-Künstler steht es dabei völlig frei, mit welchen Motiven, Farben und Materialien er seine Treppenhaus-Wand gestaltet.
Ab 19 Uhr lädt stilwerk zur Vernissage auf acht Etagen ein: vom Erdgeschoß bis in den 7. Stock können Besucher den Künstlern bei der Arbeit zusehen, am Entstehungsprozess „live“ teilhaben und schließlich die fertigen Werke betrachten.

| | | | | When Craig `KR` Costello did his first show out here in Hamburg at
`Vicious` in 2007, it had been a milestone for our gallery.We introduced our new venue exhibiting an artist with a great reputation from the Big Apple and his amazing brand KRINK in the background. It opened our eyes and we realized what we are capable to accomplish on a professional level in the future. We accepted the challenge and we achieved most of those goals in the past two years.
Meanwhile Craig traveled the world, including Russia and Australia
exhibiting his work. Vicious Gallery and `KR` both developed forward and became a bit older. The `industry` recognized this as well and its no wonder that MINI asked Craig to paint a brand new car, which will be presented in the erste liebe bar and at our gallery. `KR` will exhibit his fresh new artworks at the Vicious Gallery and Radar Cinema will screen the documentary about the MINI project next door on the opening night. |

| | |  | | From Vienna is one of our most favourite artists. We fell in love with his always dark and strange humour.. He shows pictures from are surreal world that most of the times reminds us somehow Of our own environment and society. In a world full of lust, drugs, sex and death he is one of the big narrators of our time. Definitely he ain´t that type of guy who is going to decorate your living- room, which he would actually do, if you just let him. Therefore he is one of the most truthful artists in what you call `the urban art scene` that I have ever met. Last but not least there is no discussion to be held about his technical skills- he´s a genius. |

Since our very successful show last year, he went to places like New York and Berlin
to show his skills in other galleries.
Now he will be back with some brand new stuff.
With `Kagemusha- the shadow warrior` he has been working once again very conceptual
when it comes to a show. Definitely his skills don´t seem to need any more practice- he already can be considered as one of the contemporary `masters`..
Always in the centre of his works are the dark shadows of human society, gangsters, thiefs, thugs and warriors- warriors.
So, warriors come out and play-ay.. |
